v0.88.0 — What we record about signing in, and how we know you found us
The Privacy Policy now names outright three things that had no place in it before — the sign-in journal, where an Account came from, and what our support does — and says how long each of them is kept. The biurko.io website got a document of its own.

- The sign-in journal, named outright. We record every sign-in, sign-out and failed attempt together with its reason, so that “who entered my Account, and when” has an answer. Since version 2.13 the Privacy Policy lists exactly what such a record holds (pt 2.6) and how long it stays (section 4).
- Where you came from — recorded once, never overwritten. When an Account is created we note the campaign tags of the link you arrived by (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content), the address of the page from which you went on to the sign-up form, and the domain of that source. It is one immutable fact about where the Account came from, not a record of what you do next (pt 2.19); nor is it used to send you marketing that needs your consent (section 3).
- What our support does: you are told, and the record has a term. If one of us blocks access to your Account or deletes it, you are told by e-mail; if we unblock it, by e-mail and an in-app notification — and the owner of a company we grant a plan to hears of it the same way. An extended demo is announced by an in-app notification. Every action our support takes on an Account leaves a record. After twelve months everything concerning you is removed from it; what stays is the bare fact: which action, when, which of us took it, and with what outcome (pt 2.20 and section 4). The same term now covers messages sent from the app through “Support”, screenshots included (pt 2.21 and section 4).
- The biurko.io website has a document of its own. At app.biurko.io/en/polityka-witryny we describe which cookies the website itself uses and how we count visits: on the server, writing nothing to your device, storing no IP address and asking no outside service about you. That is why the “Analytics” category in the banner is empty — not because we forgot about it.
