New feature v0.121.0
v0.121.0 — Contractor and account checks
Biurko itself asks the VAT white list, VIES and the Polish sanctions list about the contractor and the account you pay into — on the invoice, at payment and in the Biurko AI window, before you accept the document. The result warns and never locks anything, and the register’s answer stays on the document with its date.
October 16, 2026 Contractors
Is the seller an active VAT payer, and is the account number on the invoice their account on the white list? On a larger transfer you have to ask yourself that — and later be able to show that you did. Now Biurko asks, and the register’s answer stays on the document it concerns.
- A “Counterparty verification” panel on the invoice. The contractor’s VAT status and the account to pay into on the list of VAT payers, the EU VAT number in VIES and the NIP against the MSWiA sanctions list — in one place. Every answer carries the day we asked about and the identifier the register gave it; the check history keeps all the earlier ones, and “Check again” asks right away.
- We check on our own. When you save a purchase and issue a sale, on import from KSeF, when you open an unpaid purchase and on every payment you record. The invoice form shows what the registers answered before you save the document.
- The account as of the transfer order day. In the payment window you give the day the transfer was ordered and how you paid, and we check the account for exactly that day — in the past too.
- ZAW-NR: the deadline and your statement. When the account is not on the list and the transaction is above the statutory threshold, the panel names the consequences and the provision, tells you how to avoid them — by paying through the split payment mechanism or by filing the ZAW-NR notice — and shows the notice deadline. You record the day you filed it with one click, and later payments to the same account of the same seller need no new notice. Biurko sends neither the notice nor the transfer for you.
- The Biurko AI window — before you accept the document. An invoice that has just been read shows at once what the registers say about its NIP and account, and next to the seller name it read, the name the register holds under that NIP. You do the comparing.
- Contractors and your own accounts. The contractor window has a “Verification” section with the check history and the accounts the list publishes for that NIP, and the contractor list marks the EU VAT number and a possible match on the MSWiA list. Your company’s own accounts are checked on the list too, if you are an active VAT payer — a client who pays into an account that is not on it may bear the consequences.
- We warn, we do not block. The result never holds up saving, issuing, sending to KSeF or recording a payment. “Not checked” means the register did not answer — not that the contractor is missing from it. A NIP that matches the MSWiA list is a “possible match” to check, and only your company sees it.
- On every plan, the free one included. The rules are set out in the new § 13b of the Terms of Service, version 2.13.
