New feature v0.27.0

v0.27.0 — Quarterly VAT: JPK_V7K

Biurko now files quarterly VAT: records every month, the declaration with the quarter's closing month — with the quarter's figures added up and rounded once, the way the law requires.

July 25, 2026 Invoices

Settling VAT quarterly no longer means stepping outside Biurko. Set the frequency in your tax profile and the whole cycle follows the JPK_V7K rules on its own.

  • Records monthly, declaration quarterly. For the first two months of a quarter Biurko generates a records-only file — no declaration part, because none is due. The closing month (March, June, September, December) carries that month's records plus the declaration for the entire quarter, marked with the quarter number exactly as the Ministry's schema expects.
  • The quarter is added up once. The declaration's figures are summed across all three months in grosze and rounded to whole złoty a single time. Rounding each month separately — the obvious shortcut — quietly shifts the tax due by a złoty or two; Biurko doesn't take it.
  • The surplus carries across quarters. A surplus reported in one quarter's declaration becomes the opening figure of the next quarter's, with the intermediate months leaving the chain untouched.
  • Deadlines that tell the truth. Every monthly file is due on the 25th of the following month, while the payment falls on the 25th after the quarter ends. The calendar and the countdown now show those as the two different dates they are, instead of pushing January's file to the end of the quarter.
  • The rest follows. Bad-debt relief, the proportional deduction and cash-basis VAT all work on the quarterly path — cash-basis settlement, which the law ties to quarterly filing, is now fully usable. Post-filing reconciliation watches the whole quarter, so an invoice edited after the fact still raises the correction it should.

Every generated file is validated against the official schema before you ever see it.
