Company Setup
Setting up your company profile correctly is essential for seamless communication with the KSeF system. This guide walks you through each step of the configuration process.
Adding Your NIP
Your NIP (Numer Identyfikacji Podatkowej) is the primary identifier used by KSeF to associate invoices with your business. Enter your 10-digit NIP in the company settings page. Biurko will validate the format automatically. Make sure the NIP matches the one registered with the Polish tax authorities, as any mismatch will cause invoice submissions to be rejected.
Configuring the KSeF Environment
Biurko supports three KSeF environments: Production, Test, and Demo. When setting up your company, select the environment that fits your current needs. We strongly recommend starting with the Test environment to verify your configuration and practice the submission workflow before switching to Production. You can change the active environment at any time from the company settings panel.
Company Settings and Details
Complete your company profile by providing your business name, address, and contact information. These details are used to populate invoice fields and must match your official registration data. You can also configure:
- Default invoice settings -- currency, payment terms, and numbering format.
- KSeF authentication credentials -- tokens or certificates required for connecting to the KSeF API.
- Team member access -- invite colleagues and assign appropriate permissions.
Review your settings carefully before submitting your first invoice. Accurate company data prevents rejection by the KSeF system and ensures your invoices comply with Polish e-invoicing regulations.
