KSeF Environments

Overview

KSeF operates through three separate environments — production, test, and demo — each with its own API endpoint and web portal. Biurko connects to whichever environment your company's connection settings point to.

Available Environments

• Production — the live environment where invoices carry full legal effect. Submission here is final and cannot be undone.
• Test — mirrors production behavior so you can validate your integration and invoice data without any legal consequences.
• Demo — meant for training and experimentation; data in this environment is cleared periodically.

How to Choose

When setting up a KSeF connection in Biurko, pick the environment that matches your goal. You can safely experiment in the Demo or Test environment without affecting real data or carrying any legal weight. Before your first production submission, confirm that the certificate and NIP configured for the connection match the environment you selected.
